Clark Logistic Services Expands

Firm adds 262,000 square feet for a total of 400,000 square feet

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 2, 2007 – Clark Logistic Services, a sister company of Clark Properties, has more than tripled its warehouse space at the Union Seventy Center Business Park, 3901 Union Blvd., since moving into the facility in February 2005.
The 262,000-square-feet expansion brings CLS’ lease to a total of more than 400,000 square feet for the third party logistics (3PL) provider. CLS further added a second shift of employees to service its growing business.
“We’re delighted with our growing list of first-rate customers that have fueled our growth and allowed us to recruit excellent personnel,” said Mike Clark, president of Clark Properties. “We provide a wide range of services at Union Seventy Center, including basic public warehousing, storage and distribution, return logistics for retail products, full-service importing/warehousing and Internet order fulfillment, value-added services and transportation management.
“Clark Properties currently is assessing even more space at Union Seventy Center should CLS customers require it. The company also is considering two other locations in anticipation of demand,” Clark adds.
“CLS has been very responsive and provided a cost-effective solution to our overflow to get ready for the holiday season,” said Russ Osborn, operations manager for GPX, a major supplier of consumer audio and electronic product portfolios that uses CLS’ services.

Much of its warehouse space features clear ceiling heights of up to 21 feet, functional bay sizing, abundant truck docking and surface lot parking.
