CARD FEVER AT ALL-TIME HIGH-AND IN HIGH PLACES!

What: CARDS FEVER AT ALL-TIME HIGH – AND IN HIGH PLACES! Clark Properties, developer and manager of Union Seventy Center Business Park (the former General Motors assembly plant site), is showing support for the Redbirds with an 8-foot-high-by-20-foot-long “GO CARDS!” banner to be suspended from its 165-foot high water tower. The tower is currently being painted as Clark officials seek advertising interest for the northside landmark.

Who: Clark Properties has hired Custom Coatings Industrial, Inc. to paint the tower at Union Seventy Center Business Park, a fully leased 161-acre industrial, warehouse and distribution campus created from the former GM plant.

When: The banner is going up at rush hour, about 3:30-4 p.m. today, weather permitting. Also, the paint crew assembles at the base of the tower about 7 a.m. every weekday if you are interested in a “people at work” shot. This project is expected to be completed Nov. 10, 2004.

Where: Union Seventy Center Business Park, Clark Properties, 5391 Brown Ave., St. Louis, MO 63120

How: To access the tower, call Pauline at 314/389-8822 at Clark Properties in advance of your arrival; she will notify the security at the guard house to admit you.

Why Shoot: CARDS Fever reaches new heights shot! Great “people at work” shot! Great shot for traffic copters – more than 107,000 vehicles/day on Interstate 70.

Background: The water tower is a north county landmark seen from all directions, especially by commuters and travelers on I-70
