APX Central, Inc. Enters St. Louis Market with 40,000SF Lease at Byaseee Industrial Center from Clark Properties
ST. LOUIS – Mail-order package processor American Package Express (APX) has added St. Louis to its growing national network with the lease of 40,000 square feet of distribution space from Clark Properties at Byassee Industrial Center in Hazelwood, Mo.
Based in Santa Fe Springs, Cal., APX operates approximately 30 facilities nationwide that process catalog orders for such retail concerns as Home Shopping Network, Nordstrom and JC Penney.
In the past year, Clark Properties has invested nearly $1 million in infrastructure and building improvements at the 6.7-acre, rail-served site, which is located at 131 Byassee Drive near Lindbergh and McDonnell Boulevards. Currently, 80,000 square feet of warehouse space remains available, at a lease rate of $2.50/SF triple net. The development is also offered for sale at $3.5 million. Clark Properties is the area’s leading redeveloper of brownfield industrial property. Since 1985 Clark has acquired, renovated and sold or leased more than 4.7 million square feet of office, warehouse/distribution and light manufacturing space in metropolitan St. Louis. -end-
